Black Gold AKC Miniature Schnauzers Program Policies

All of our puppies, regardless of color or gender, are priced at $2,500.

To reserve your place for a future puppy, we require a non-refundable total deposit of $700, broken into two parts:

• First Deposit: A $200 non-refundable waiting list deposit to secure your spot in line.
• Second Deposit: A $500 non-refundable deposit due within 5 days of your puppy’s birth, to officially hold your puppy.

This brings your total deposit to $700, which is applied toward the final purchase price.

The remaining balance of $1,800 is due by the time your puppy turns 6 weeks old.
If delivery is needed, the delivery fee must also be paid at that time.

At their 6-week veterinary appointment, puppies will receive their AKC Reunite Indigo ISO Microchip. We will need your full contact information to complete the microchip registration.

By 7 weeks of age, your puppy’s name and your ownership details will be submitted for official AKC registration.

Your puppy’s purchase price includes everything needed for a healthy, happy start:

• First set of puppy vaccinations
• AKC Reunite microchip implantation
• Routine deworming
• Tail docking and dew claw removal
• 6-week puppy wellness exam
  (All veterinary care is performed by a licensed Texas DVM.)

Each puppy will also be registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC) before going home.

Once your deposit is placed, you'll receive weekly photo and/or video updates of your puppy from birth through 8 weeks. Updates are sent via our PRIVATE Facebook Group, Facebook Messenger, Instagram and/or TikTok, so you can stay excited, informed, and connected until it's time to bring your puppy home.

• A receiving blanket with mama’s & littermate's scents
• A puppy folder with your:
  Purchase agreement, Health guarantee , vaccination & deworming record, and a helpful breed and puppy care information sheet.
• A goodie bag with:
  A toy & a baggie full of the food your puppy’s been eating

We want every family to feel prepared, informed, and over the moon excited to welcome their new Black Gold baby home!

We do not ship our puppies via cargo under any circumstances. However, you're welcome to pick up your puppy at our home, or we’d be happy to meet you or your approved flight nanny at our local airport.

If you're considering using a flight nanny, we can provide trusted contacts. Please note:
Your puppy must travel in the cabin, either with you or a flight nanny, for safety and comfort.

At Black Gold, we place our puppies in pet/companion homes only, breeding rights are not granted under any circumstances.

All puppies are registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC) under Limited Registration, which means your puppy is fully registered, but any future offspring cannot be registered with AKC.

We also require a spay/neuter contract to be signed prior to your puppy’s delivery or pickup, reinforcing our commitment to responsible pet ownership and breed preservation.
